Papo figures lean more towards the serious collector than being toys for kids, with their naturalistic sculpts, high level of detail and carefully applied paintwork. The Quetzalcoatlus is a figure that embodies all of those qualities and more. Posed as it is in a walking stance the sculpt really coveys a sense of gravity acting on such a large animal more accustomed to soaring above the ground than walking on it. At this point in time considered to be the largest animal ever to attain flight. This figure from Papo is on the larger size as befits what would have been an enormous animal and has jaw articulation as do many figures from this company of predatory animals, the top of the beak lifting up from a static jaw in a reversal of the usual configuration. This one is well worth a purchase and will look very eye catching and life-like on display. Recommended.
