Schleich released the Dimorphodon and Therizinosauru set in 2016 consisting of two small dinosaur figures. This pack includes both figures hand-painted in realistic detailed colours. A keepsake box complete with a volcanic background and rocky floor makes it the perfect gift for any young dino lover!    Fun facts about the dinosaurs: The first Dimorphodon had a particularly striking beak because it looked like that of a puffin. The short wings were not really suitable for flying, but the pterosaurs were most probably able to climb just as well as squirrels. In contrast to the Dimorphodon, the Therizinosaurus lived towards the end of the dinosaur era. It had the longest claws out of all the animals that ever lived on earth: they were up to 70 centimetres long. It probably used them to peel the bark off trees. Box approx. 18.8 x 16 x 17 cm (LWH) Dimorphodon (including height of tail) approx. 12.5 x 5.5 x 10.5 cm (LWH) Therizinosauru approx. 15 x 7.5 x 8.8 cm (LWH)

Schleich Dimorphodon and Therizinosaurus pack

Great detail, interesting poses. Therizinosaurus could benefit from more colour variation. Claws are well detailed. Dimorphodon looks like a startled cat, but this seems to give it personality.
